Certified accountants offer help during tax season

The Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants will be offering free tax assistance to Virginia taxpayers.
Residents who have questions regarding their federal and state taxes can visit the Web site, FinancialFitness.org and click on the Tax Resource Center. Through April 8, people can also submit specific tax questions by clicking on the “Ask a CPA” link, which is also found on the organization’s Web site.
FinancialFitness.org also includes a list of other useful links for consumers and provides people with information on tax filing, financial planning and more.
