Industry association honors Bowman

CHANTILLY – Bowman Consulting recently announced it was voted as the “2007 Civil Engineering Firm of the Year in the Metro Washington Area” by members of the Metropolitan Washington Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors. The award was presented at last week’s Architect/Engineer Industry Appreciation Night.
“We have a unique balance of resources, particularly some of the industry’s most highly respected professionals, and that has enabled our tremendous success over the years,” said Walt Sampsell, principal. “We are honored to be recognized for our professionalism and leadership in the building and development community.”
ABC of Metro Washington is a commercial construction industry association providing awareness, technology and training to more than 500 members of the building and general contracting community.
Bowman Consulting is an engineering firm in the mid-Atlantic region. Headquartered just west of Washington, D.C. in Chantilly, Bowman Consulting has nine regional offices and more than 300 employees.
