North Stafford insurance agent recognized

The Nationwide insurance agency is recognizing the achievements of a local insurance agent, by awarding him the Conference of Champions, and District Community Service Awards in recognition of his outstanding service to the Stafford area.

Mark D. Smith, an insurance agent for 19 years, is the principal of The Smith Agency located on Garrisonville Road.

“Making sure my customers have the coverage they need and want is tremendously satisfying,” said Smith in a released statement from Nationwide. “My clients are part of the Nationwide family and my goal is to ensure they have peace of mind about their future.” In recognition of his achievement, Smith will be recognized at the company’s annual conference on Marco Island, Fla.
