The Kingston Trio
The Kingston Trio will perform with the UMW Community Symphony Orchestra as part of the William Anderson, Jr. Celebrity Series. General admission tickets to the event are $35. Friends of the Orchestra: $25, UMW students with ID: $10. For tickets or more information call (540) 654-1012.
Open Mic Night
The Wounded Bookshop, located at 109 Amelia St. in Fredericksburg will hold it’s monthly open-mic night beginning at 8 p.m. The event is free to the public.
Reptile Show
Reptiles will be on display at the Stafford Courthouse Community Center. Michael Shwedick will perform a show with the reptiles, suitable for both children and adults. The show starts at 7 p.m. and will last for an hour-and-a-half. For more information call (540) 659-5115.

Nic at Night
The Maranatha Second Generation Choir presents the Kathie Hill drama “Nic at Night” at the Fil-Am Christian Church, located at 410 Decon Road in Fredericksburg at 4 p.m. The event is free to the public. For more information, call at (540) 907-2128.
Schools’ Art Show
Stafford County Public Schools will hold its 33rd Annual Fine Arts Show at Brooke Point High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on April 19, and on the 20th, from noon to 4 p.m. The event will feature Fine and Performing Arts district and state awards, the Garrisonville Elementary Singing Gators, more than 5,000 pieces of student artwork, and 40 student performances.
Earth Day event
Fredericksburg’s Earth Day celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19, in Alum Spring Park. Exhibits, live music, family activities and nature hikes in the parks are all free and available to the public. The event is co-sponsored by the Rappahannock Sierra Club and the Fredericksburg Parks and Recreation Depsrtment. For information, call (540) 371-8382.

Rikki’s Refuge
Rikki’s Refuge will hold an open house from noon to 4 p.m. The public is invited to pet and feed animals in the refuge. Visitors will have a chance to have photos made of them and one of the animals on the tour. The refuge is non-profit and is supported solely by donations. Peter Pan Presentation
The Pied Piper Theatre presents Peter Pan at Osbourn Park High School, at 8909 Euclid Ave. in Manassas. Tickets are available for $7 in advance, $8 at the door. Group tickets for organized groups are also available by calling (703) 330-ARTS.
