Ernestine L. Gordon, 81, of Woodbridge, Virginia, died Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Harris of Queens, N.Y. and a great-grandson, Vasean.

Survivors include her husband, Marshall Gordon; four children, Marjorie Autry of Woodbridge, Marsha Kindred of Dale City, Michael Gordon of Dale City, Wayne Gordon of New York, N.Y.; one sister, Virginia Richbourgh of Queens, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held April 29 at Little Union Baptist Church, 17150 Mine Rd, Dumfries, VA 22025. Interment will be in Rockville Cemetery in Lynbrook, NY.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorials Processing Center, Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058.

Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel, at 1310 Courthouse Road, Stafford, VA 22554 handled the arrangements.
