John James “J.J."Snyder Sr., 63, of Stafford died Monday, May 12, 2008 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nan M. Snyder; two brothers, Robert and Richard Snyder; and his granddaughter, Sydney.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Anne R. Snyder; three sons, John J. Snyder Jr. of Stafford; Robert Edward Snyder of Gainesville; James John Snyder of Naples, Fla., a brother, William Snyder of Clarks Summit, Pa.; a sister, Jill Snyder of Scranton, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
A Mass of celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 19 at St. William of York Catholic Church, with interment following at noon in Quantico National Cemetery with military and police honors.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 18 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel.
