Kenneth Reid “Kenny” Wine, 75, of Stafford County, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dean Lansdowne, Jr.; a sister, Alice Wine Dillard; and four brothers, Arthur, Elmer, Allen, and Robert Wine.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Phyllis Decatur Wine; two children, Bonnie Lansdowne of Spotsylvania, and Kenneth Wine, Jr. of Stafford; three stepchildren, Linda Stone and James Drake, both of Spotsylvania, and Dawn Gorton of Vinita, Okla.; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren; five sisters, Mildred Hall and Velva Powell both of Spotsylvania, Evelyn Bourne of Falmouth, Roberta Frances Dodd of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Mary Elizabeth Swenson of Glouchester; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held April 28 at Covenant Funeral Service, with interment following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
