Brown graduates, named to Dean’s List
Rebekah Brown of Stafford graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in science and psychology from Regent University. Brown was also named to the Spring 2008 Dean’s List at the college.

Meekins receives scholar honors
Sheena Meekins of Stafford, a senior majoring in marketing management from the Pamplin College of Business, was inducted to the CommonWEALTH of Scholars honors organization this past spring.
The CommonWEALTH of Scholars is a selective, student-driven honors organization designed to enrich the intellectual development and academic experience of qualified students by providing academic challenges and
opportunities.

Moore graduates, makes Dean’s List
Christine Diane Moore of Stafford was announced to the Dean’s List at Layette College in Easton, Pa. Moore earned at least a 3.6 grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
Moore also graduated from the college in the spring Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering.

Sadler receives master’s degree
Kristina Sadler of Fredericksburg was among 89 students that received their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees during a recent graduation at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
Laviena wins scholarship
Krystal Laviena of Fredericksburg, a student in Virginia Tech’s College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, was recently presented with the Weidemann scholarship, which is given to a student who among other qualifications, demonstrates academic achievement, contributions to the community and good character.
