Braswell graduates, is now an airman
Air Force Airman Danielle Braswell has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate’s degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
She is the daughter of DiAnn and David Braswell of Misty Creek Lane in Fredericksburg. Braswell is a 2007 graduate of Colonial Forge High School in Stafford.
Banks graduates basic infantry
Army Pvt. Daryl L. Banks Jr. has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga.
He is the son of Daryl Banks Sr. of Stafford.
Conord receives Army commission
Stafford native Jeffrey Conord was recently commissioned into the U.S. Army as a second lieutenant during Radford University’s ROTC commissioning ceremony. Conord graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and will be stationed in Ft. Bliss in Texas. Conord is the son of Colonel and Mrs. Albert Conord.
Conord was a member of the Virginia National Guard and served with the 1/116th Infantry. He was a Distinguished Honor Graduate at his AIT training for communications at Ft. Gordon in Georgia. During the summer of his junior year at RU, Conord attended and completed airborne school. Conord will be a medical service office in the U.S. Army.
Morrison receives advanced training
Army Pvt. Jason Morrison has graduated from the Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. The training consists of Basic Infantry Training and Advanced Individual Training.
Morrison is the grandson of Mary Webster of Bel Plains Drive in Fredericksburg.
In 2004, the private graduated from C.D. Hylton High School in Woodbridge.
