North Stafford grad now Naval Captain

Stafford County native Jim Hagy has recently been promoted to the rank of Captian in the U.S. Navy.

A Navy officer that began his career as an enlisted seaman was promoted to the prestigious rank of captain April 18.
Jim Hagy, a native of Stafford County, has served in the Navy for 33 years, and will report to his next duty assignment in Kunia, Hawaii.
Hagy will serve as the commanding officer of Navy Information Operations Command.
Hagy graduated North Stafford High School in 1973, and his mother, Edith, still lives in Stafford County.
