Rockhill Elementary
Fourth-grade teacher Carol O’Hagan has been selected to attend the 2008 Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center Summer Teacher Institute this month. The program is designed to assist teachers instructing Virginia History, the fourth-grade social studies curriculum in Stafford County.
Due to numerous ongoing construction projects at Rockhill this summer, the main office has relocated and visitors must enter the building through the door nearest the activity room.
Rockhill welcomes paraprofessional Laurie Pennock.
Bookkeeper Evelyn Wells is the July P.T.O. Employee of the Month. Chosen employees receive a front row parking space, gift certificate to a local restaurant, banner for their office and a certificate of appreciation.
The following volunteers logged in the most hours for the 07/08 school year: Theresa Padgett, 612 hours, Mary Studebaker, 565 hours Julie Klocek, 307 hours,
Gloria Graham, 205 hours, Mary Thompson, 204 hours.
Other top volunteers include Tina Horan, Kim O*Grady, Manny Aviles, Linda Michael, Lisa Cohen, Gina Bobert, Janice Kondracki, Jackie Perez, and Paula Bollinger.
Eighty-nine volunteers logged in hours this year.
