SPCA to hold area benefit for animals

The Greater Fredericksburg SPCA will be hosting a Wine and Whiskers charity event, to help find homes for otherwise homeless animals. The event will take place July 19, from 6 - 10 p.m. at the Lake Anna Winery, located at 5621 Courthouse Road in Spotsylvania.
The event features wine tasting, appetizers and dessert, live music from Twelve Row Barley, cash wine bar, and silent action. All proceeds benefit the Greater Fredericksburg Area Spa’s new human care center.
Reservations are required, with a cost of $45 per person, which includes a souvenir wine glass and event t-shirt. For more information call (540) 373-9008 x22.
