Militrary brief

STAFFORD — Lockheed Martin was selected by the United States Marine Corps Systems Command to provide program office support services for the Program Manager, Optics and Non-Lethal Systems. This task order has one base year and two option years, with an estimated program value of approximately $30 million.

Fourth-grade teacher Carol O’Hagan has been selected to attend the 2008 Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center Summer Teacher Institute this month. The program is designed to assist teachers instructing Virginia History, the fourth-grade social studies curriculum in Stafford County.
