Great Danes in search of ‘forever’ homes
STERLING — Some local Great Danes are looking for their “forever” homes. The Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League (MAGDRL), one of the largest breed specific rescues in the Northeast, is hosting several “Meet & Greets” for the local community in November. The league helps find “forever” homes for abandoned or homeless Great Danes.
Awareness week seeks to educate drowsy drivers

CULPEPER — A Lynchburg woman died Saturday afternoon in a skydiving accident during a tandem parachute jump at Orange County Airport, according to the Virginia State Police.

Man found guilty of killing Fredericksburg woman

Stafford’s vote in perspective
As Stafford County has grown during the past 20 years so have the number the voters. FALMOUTH — A half hour before the polls at Falmouth Elementary in South Stafford were scheduled to open this morning, a line of voters, standing in the pre-dawn darkness, stretched from the entrance of the school all the way to Forbes Street.
