STAFFORD — County Administrator Anthony Romanello has asked Fire Chief Rob Brown to speak before the Stafford County Board of Supervisors next month in response to concerns raised at a May 12 meeting of more than 100 county volunteer firefighters.

BEREA — The North England Run Storm Response Service Center was closed on Sunday.

BEREA — Rocky Run Road in southern Stafford County remains closed due to a road collapse. The gaping hole in the road has effectively cut off through transit from Holly Corner to Berea. 

Heavy rain and thunder storms expected.

As the cleanup and recover efforts continue, one man is saying that he has been told by Sheriff’s Deputies to stay out of the England Run neighborhood of Stafford County.

If you live in a flood-prone area, be prepared to take action as storms move into the Northern Virginia area, warns the National Weather Service.
