Car slams into building

NORTH STAFFORD — The owners of a local dry cleaners were in for a big surprise when a car plowed through their front door.
The incident happened Wednesday morning when a passenger vehicle slammed into the cleaners located on Garrisonville Road just after 10:30 a.m., according to the Stafford Fire and Rescue Department. Two passengers in the vehicle were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening issues.
Building inspectors were called to the scene to determine the structural integrity of the damaged building and found the structure to be stable, according to Mark Stone, spokesman for Stafford Fire and Rescue.
Fire and rescue units from four stations responded to the scene.
