Douglas was visiting her daughter, whose husband is stationed on base, for the holiday.

Emergency personnel who responded to the home pronounced Douglas dead on the scene.

Douglas was the wife of Capt. Greg Douglas, an Equipment Training Specialist at Tinker Air Force Base in Okla.

The investigation into Douglas’ death is still under investigation by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service at Quantico Marine Corps base.
