Ethanol poisoning ruled as cause of death

STAFFORD — Prince William County authorities have released the cause of death for a woman who was pronounced dead at Quantico Marine Corps base on New Year’s Day.
Christina Douglas, 41, died of ethanol poisoning, according to the Prince William County Coroner’s Office.
Douglas was visiting her daughter, whose husband is stationed on base, for the holiday.
Emergency personnel who responded to the home pronounced Douglas dead on the scene.
Douglas was the wife of Capt. Greg Douglas, an Equipment Training Specialist at Tinker Air Force Base in Okla.
The investigation into Douglas’ death is still under investigation by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service at Quantico Marine Corps base.
