Great Danes in search of ‘forever’ homes

STAFFORD — Some local Great Danes are looking for their “forever” homes.
The Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League (MAGDRL), one of the largest breed specific rescues in the Northeast, is hosting several “Meet & Greets” for the local community in November. The league helps find “forever” homes for abandoned or homeless Great Danes.
Great Danes, as well as volunteers, will be at the events. Upcoming events include:
Nov. 15: PetSmart, 1160 Stafford Market Place, Stafford, 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. For directions, call the Stafford PetSmart: (540) 658-9272. MAGDRL will be at the Stafford PetSmart on the third Saturday of each month.
Nov. 15: PetSmart, 46220 Potomac Run Plaza, Sterling, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For directions, call the Sterling PetSmart: (703) 444-6500. MAGDRL will be at the Sterling PetSmart on the third Saturday of every month.
