STAFFORD — Christopher Nadeau, 20, was in court Tuesday on first-degree murder conviction and related child-abuse charges, and was sentenced to 55 years in prison.
Nadeau was accused in the death of 2-year-old Zoe Zimmerman, of Stafford, according to court records.
Zimmerman was the boyfriend of Zoe’s mother, at the time of the toddler’s death. Nadeau, from South Carolina, was stationed at Quantico Marine Corps base, and was baby-sitting Zoe at the time, according to a police report.
Nadeau is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
