UPDATE: An Amber Alert issued Monday for Colin Nathaniel Custer, who was abducted from his South Carolina home, was cancelled later that night, according to the Virginia Amber Alert Web site.
The 4-year-old boy, from Lexington, S.C., was reportedly found safe. According to the Amber Alert Web site, he was taken by Robert William Custer III, his father. The two were suspected to be headed toward the Fredericksburg/Locust Grove area when the Amber Alert was issued.
Robert William Custer was arrested in Blacksburg.
