Man jailed for groping

NORTH STAFFORD — A 51-year-old man was arrested last week for inappropriately touching two women at a local food store.

Kenneth Green, 51, of the 3000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway, was arrested June 13 at Shoppers Food Warehouse in Stafford Marketplace, for grabbing the buttocks to two women at the store, reported Major David Decatur of the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.

The victims were ages 49and 57, according to Decatur.

One reported that she was grabbed and she turned to see Green standing beside her. It happened a second time and she turned to see him again, according to the report.

Green was arrested for the assaults and incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 bond.
