STAFFORD — An escalating feud between two rival garbage disposal companies — Stafford-based Shifflett’s Trash Service and Davis Disposal of Spotsylvania — has resulted in one man being arrested, and another left hoping someone does not get killed in an escalating dispute.

Bill Dawson, Target store manager at Stafford Marketplace, said the store has an open parking lot on the side of its building that is rarely used, and would be an ideal commuter parking area.

STAFFORD — A former University of Mary Washington President has been arrested in Maryland on his third drunken driving charge in a year.
William John Frawley, 54, of Chevy Chase, Md., was arrested April 10 for allegedly attempting to drive his car under the influence of alcohol, according to court documents.
