High fuel prices have made us think twice about needing to go places; grocery shopping, traveling, etc.
Now people want to plan a trip make sure that they plan all these things way in advance so they will not have to drive around town and waste fuel along the way. This also just makes it very hard and hurtful to go to the grocery store and have to pay high prices for something that one needs on the instant, like an ingredient for a moment. All this is burning the person inside and on all ends and leaving a lot of us stressed out and bored.
If we had public transportation like the transportation in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. we just might be able to lower our consumption of fuel costs and free up some of the hard-earned money we have saved up. But for now, we just need and cut back on buying things, like making fewer visits to restaurants and places that were once someplace “fun” to go to.
Suspending the gas tax is just a band-aid to cover up the boo-boo/cut. We really need our economy to improve and when this happens the gas prices go down, and then we will progress and move forward and work on a normal schedule, have fun and use discretionary judgment.
