The battles of American history; U.S. Indian wars, Pocahontas, the Civil War, the American Revolution, historical remnants all stand out in this lovely and historical state of Virginia, Stafford County, to name a few.

The acres of land to build schools have a requirement that proper permits have to be obtained before construction of any buildings, like grounds for schools, can be authorized.  There are a lot of key battles that happened in and around our area, so preservation of historical remnants needs to be reviewed and of course, preserved. The history of Stafford County is so interesting and important that I would like to research and just learn more about this area. Many artifacts are being discovered when digging the earth.

I was volunteering at Chatham, one of our historical sites, as a volunteer master gardener in helping to preserve and to keep our beautiful land that the battles were fought upon. I feel like a loyal citizen and it makes me feel great just knowing that I was doing what I could to improve our beautiful artifacts. Education will resume and continue where there is so much to be discovered and learned about.
