As I was reading this article, one does not need to discriminate between race, religion, and color. Trying to ignore depression or any type of illness is not going to make the illness go away and get better on its own. As a matter of fact, it is going to bring on more heavy-duty problems and really make one face their illness directly and much differently, handling it in a way as such to help one feel better. It is all a cover if one tries to drink the problem away or just plainly self-medicate oneself. It is not a way out.
Talk it out and get some help. You are helping yourself in so many ways. One of the steps to face the state of fear is just to get out there in the real world and face the world that you have an illness. Staying away, hiding oneself and the fear of not wanting to face the truth and yourself is simply an easy way out or, as it says, “ hiding under the covers” is not going to solve the problem. Get out and face the world! Be positive that you can help yourself, after getting the proper help needed. It sounds scary but a true fact of life, face your illness and conquer the disease.
