The information mentioned in “Officials: Prepare for tornados” explains quite clearly that one needs to be prepared for what anything life may choose to bring. Having the basics; like food, medication and water supplies around the house for emergencies/disasters will be of great need and help. Just being aware of what might happen, prepares one to be ready and able to face the unknown.
Having metal bookshelves in my basement, where I store bottled water, flashlights, first aid kit and other basic supplies will be of great help to me in preparation of any event. Having the supplies on hand makes life easier and well prepared to face the unknown.
Virginia may have tornadoes every-so-often but all of the supplies mentioned in the article can help us in ice storms, power outages, and most of all anything that goes wrong. Be prepared for whatever life has to offer. Thank you for the advice, guidance and the different ways that one can gather information in preparation to any emergency or disaster.
