I had a wonderful time going up to Washington, D.C. for the National Epilepsy Foundation Walk. I was so amazed to see how many people wore the purple T-shirt like I did. I am a survivor and I am very glad to see the many survivors like me. The two-mile walk with thousands of people took us past so many of the beautiful Cherry Blossom trees, so I shall say it was an energetic, meaningful, spiritual and beautiful day on March 29.
When we walked through the finish line and heard the loud bright cheers, I knew that I was not the only one to have undergone surgery for epilepsy. It’s a great feeling to get up, move, go and walk with so many survivors. I am really pleased and proud to say, I made it and I shall survive!
Thank you very much,
