1. How did you get into running track?
RR: “I tried out for the track team my seventh- grade year. I didn’t like it and quit. My coach convinced me to come back and I’ve been at it ever since.”
2. Are you seen as a role model?
RR: “No. I don’t do much talking; I let my running speak for itself.”
3. How do you keep focused?
“I know when to get serious, and stay away from other competitors before meets.”
4. What are your plans for college?
“I’m a junior, so right now I looking at a few schools. I want to go out of state.”
5. Do you think ketchup is an insult to a chef?
“No. I eat a lot of ketchup.”
