King gets early start with Patriots
STAFFORD — Stafford’s Max King was about 11 years old when she first met Diane Drake, a veteran soccer coach.
Drake was conducting a camp at Goucher College in Maryland. And later King attended camps run by Drake at Georgetown University and George Mason University.

Tech wide receiver suspended following DUI arrest
BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech’s most uncertain position suffered another setback yesterday when projected starting wide receiver Zach Luckett was suspended indefinitely by coach Frank Beamer for violating team policy. The move could mean a redshirt freshman and true freshman will start at receiver when the Hokies open the season Aug. 30.
